Stephanie founded her company, Step It Up with Steph, in 2008 to motivate people of all ages, lifestyles, professions, and body types to Step It Up anywhere, anytime. Stephanie has revolutionized the health and fitness industry by providing quick 30 to 60 second daily tips that people can incorporate into their everyday lives, anywhere, anytime!

Stephanie has been featured on local news stations across the country for her innovative & quick workout and stretch routines, such as Cubicle Crunch (stretches to do while at work) and Household Workouts (including lifting laundry detergents and melons as weights!) She has also appeared on local news for life coaching tips to motivate people to break through what’s stopping them from getting what they want and living the life they want.

Step It Up with Steph’s website includes daily 60 second video tips, including episodes where Steph “Takes It to the Streets” to find everyday people who incorporate fitness into her everyday life. Episodes have included a Fed Ex driver teaching viewers how to properly lift boxes, and a bus-rider who does squats while waiting at the bus stop.

Stephanie’s approach to health and fitness is the opposite to the “all or nothing” mentality that is prevalant in the health and fitness industry. Stephanie coaches her clients on healthy eating (without restricting foods or eating on a “diet”), she helps create a workout plan (that does not include 45 minutes of cardio at the gym), and body image exercises to increase happiness, confidence, and sexiness.

Stephanie offers body image and confidence coaching sessions over the phone and online via webinars, teleconferences, and one-on-one private coaching.

Stephanie privately trains select clients in Chicago in yoga, pilates, and personal training. Stephanie offers luxury training in the comfort of your own home. Stephanie’s training in Chicago is targeted towards the busy female working professional or stay at home mother who does not have time to travel to the gym and/or wants more specialized attention with an expert.

Stephanie received her BA in Communications (emphasis on Psychology & Women’s Studies) from the University of Michigan, where she created and hosted two televisions shows: an aerobics show encouraging students to work out in their dorm rooms, and a motivational talk show highlighting good deeds around campus.

Stephanie has interned and worked for PBS WNET New York, Lifetime Television for Women, Oprah & Friends XM Radio host Marianne Williamson, and The Dr. Phil Show. Stephanie completed her 200 Hour Yoga Training, Personal Training Certification, Pilates Certification and Life Coaching Certification in Los Angeles.
