Cheeky Chicago: Meet TV Star Trainer Stephanie Mansour!

Enter TV star and CEO of Step It Up With Steph, Stephanie Mansour. Stephanie is an on-air health and fitness expert and body image and confidence coach, a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor as well as an in-home personal trainer for women. After gaining the dreaded “freshman fifteen” in college, she started an aerobics TV show to get fit. “I had always known that I wanted to host my own TV show, but in college I decided that I wanted to mentally and physically help women feel empowered to take control of their lives and their bodies,” she explains.

My mom taught me to snack in a healthy way instead of eating a bunch of junk food. I remember eating graham crackers and celery sticks with peanut butter on them, and raisins in the car on the way to my sporting events. She’d always make us eat broccoli even if we didn’t like it — but let us dip it into ranch dressing with our sandwich at lunch. Today I encourage my clients to view food as fuel and to pay attention to what they are eating even while snacking.
