TODAY SHOW: I wore resistance band pants for 3 days — and my legs and core felt stronger

Resistance bands have become popular due to how convenient and affordable they are, but do you know about resistance band pants? Resistance band pants are essentially pants that have resistance bands built into them! Many resistance band pants are not only stylish, but comfortable as well.  

There are many versions of resistance band pants, varying in different resistance levels. The one I tried was the Agogie resistance band pants! Having them on was a great experience because I could feel the resistance when I was working out, taking my daily walk and even doing chores inside my house! I also offer more of my personal feedback on resistance band pants and who I would recommend these to.

Many more people are using resistance bands during workouts because they are easy to travel with and convenient to use. Resistance bands are widely used in a variety of workouts and can be utilized to work out different muscles. There are also a couple of different types of resistance bands that can be used to work out different core muscles.

I offer many different exercises using resistance bands that you can incorporate into your daily workout routine. To work out your lower body, you can do standing side taps, standing glute kickbacks, squat jacks, etc. To work out the upper body, you can use the longer resistance bands to do bicep curls and even overhead presses!

Although many people incorporate the regular crunch into their daily workout, very few know about the reverse crunch. If you are worried about the risks of performing a standard crunch incorrectly, or are looking for something new to add to your workout routine, you should definitely try the reverse crunch!

Reverse crunches are beneficial because they help strengthen your core muscles and prevent you from straining your lower neck and back, which may happen when doing a regular crunch incorrectly. Practice makes perfect, so I offer many tips and tricks to do a reverse crunch correctly. I also offer a modified reverse crunch before jumping right into the reverse crunch, and exercises that will help you perform the reverse crunch better.

Due to the pandemic, many people have been getting more addicted and developing bad habits when it comes to their use of technology. Including me! Instead of putting away my phone, I tried to change the way I used it to create better, more positive, and healthier habits. 

To name a few, some of the positive changes I made in my routine is to set time limits and start a daily morning yoga practice using yoga and meditation apps. Setting a time limit and using the screen time feature will allow you to become more aware of your daily phone usage and set specific goals for yourself to limit your technology usage.

Because of the pandemic, there is an increasing amount of people working out at home. Insanity workouts on TV have become extremely popular, so I have decided to try it out myself! The Insanity workout is a two-month program and the routines in the workout are known to be extremely intense, so I would definitely recommend it to those who are looking for a workout challenge!

I give an explanation to what the specific workouts entail, and the different workouts I tried such as the pure cardio workouts and cardio power and resistance workouts. Many people perform the standard plank in their daily workout routines, but very few incorporate the side plank. The side plank can be beneficial because it not only works your core muscles, but also helps tone your waist and increase your strength. If this is something you want to work on, make sure to give this move a try and add it to your daily workout routine!

Side planks are also beneficial because it helps improve muscle endurance in the lower back. It takes time to work the core and build up your oblique strength to do side planks. I offer a modified side plank before jumping right into the side plank, and exercises that will help you perform the side plank better.

Many people are afraid of bulking up when toning their muscles during workouts. Adding in some muscular strength exercises during your daily workouts, in addition to cardio exercises, and having the balance between the two are important aspects of weight loss and muscle tone.

They are a popular exercise used to target the butt and legs — and can build muscle that leads to a rounder, firmer backside, while also improving hip mobility. It’s now wonder why so many people are hopping on the trend!

When doing the Romanian deadlift, there are many common mistakes people make and I offer some advice to help you prevent these common mistakes. TODAY SHOW: TikTokers are trying this ‘ab dance’ to get a toned core — but does it work?

The latest fitness TikTok viral trend, the TikTok ‘ab dance,’ has been done by many users of TikTok and many have claimed to see effective weight loss results. The ‘ab dance’ is essentially a standing pelvic tilt and it helps work out your abdominal muscles and core muscles.

If you want to try out the pelvic tilt, I suggest beginning against the wall. Other standing ab exercises that are also great to try are the standing crunch and the standing reach, both of which you can perform standing up. Today Show: How to do mountain climbers the right way (and faster doesn’t mean better)

Mountain climbers are a great low stress way to boost your heart rate and engage your whole body! Whether you’re looking to improve leg and core strength or raise your heart rate, mountain climbers will get it done. Although mountain climbers are high intensity and help raise your heart rate, they’re also low impact. Low-impact exercises are great for people who suffer with joint pain.

There Are many common mistakes when tackling this exercise. But don’t fear, there are manny  modifications as you are learning as well. As you progress through these know that there are ways to improve your mountain climbers by using other moves. For example being able to perform a solid plank will definitely help you perform mountain climbers properly!
