With stress and anxiety levels high due to the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, you may want to unwind in the evenings (or at noon – no judgement!) with a drink. One way that I’ve recommended my private weight loss clients work on being mindful when they’re pouring themselves a drink is to do a quick workout while they do it!
The goal of this workout isn’t necessarily to burn calories or counteract the fact that you’re having a glass of wine – it’s to break up the automatic response you have when pouring yourself the glass of wine or cocktail. Typically this is an action you would do mindlessly without thinking, and when you add in extra steps it can help you be mindful of what you’re putting into your body.
