TODAY SHOW: How to perform the ‘world’s greatest stretch’

Stretching is so important before and after a workout. The ‘world’s greatest’ stretch is a combination of two different stretches that helps stretch both the upper body and the lower body. The stretch is essentially a deep lunge and a twist, while doing a hamstring stretch. The stretch is also very beneficial for the body because it can relieve stress and pain from parts of the body.

Many people perform this stretch incorrectly, so I give advice on the common mistakes people make when doing this stretch and how to do it correctly. I offer a modified ‘world’s greatest stretch’ before going into the standard stretch. I also offer some exercises you can try out that will help you with the ‘world’s greatest stretch’. If you are looking for a stretch before your workout that helps stretch the whole body, you should definitely give this one a try!

Traditional crunches are often incorporated into daily workout routines, but it is often done incorrectly which can cause injuries. The Pilates crunch, a very similar move, is a much slower move and focuses more on the form of the body. It is beneficial for the body in many ways such as combining flexibility training and strength training of the core in one move.

People make many common mistakes when they do the Pilates crunch, so I give advice and tips on how to do it correctly. I offer a way to do a modified Pilates crunch before getting into the more standard version. I also offer exercises that will help you master the Pilates crunch. If you are thinking of adding a new move into your daily exercise routine, the Pilates crunch is definitely one that you should try!

Today Show: How to do Burpees

Many people find burpees extremely challenging because it combines a whole set of workout moves, including push-ups, squats, and planks. Burpees allow you to work out many different parts of your body and build more strength. Burpees are also beneficial for improving your blood flow and it’s a great high-intensity cardio move to try!

Burpees consist of a series of different workout moves, so they can often be done incorrectly. I offer a way to do a modified burpee to make the transition to an actual burpee easier. I also offer how to perform the burpee correctly and exercises that will help you perform the burpee better. The scissor kick is a move that can work out your abs, glutes, legs and hips! It is very effective in helping you work out many different parts of your body, but is also often done incorrectly. When people are doing this move, they often arch their back, which will hurt and strain your back. I give tips on how to avoid these common mistakes and should always be kept in mind!

I offer the steps to perform a scissor kick correctly and how to do a modified scissor kick before transitioning into the actual scissor kick. I also offer exercises that will help you perform scissor kicks better and these will help strengthen your muscles beforehand. If you are looking for a new move to add to your workout routine that will help you strengthen your core, make sure to give the scissor kick a try!

The V-sit is a great move to add to your daily workout and exercise routines because it is another ab workout that helps you improve your core strength. It is also a great move that can help you improve your balance while still working out your core muscles!

There are many common mistakes people make when they perform the V-sit. I point out many of those mistakes in order to have it be most effective in your workout! I also offer how to do a modified V-sit and the steps to perform a V-sit correctly. There are also some exercises you can do that will help you progress in areas such as a stronger core and better balance.

Sit-ups are commonly seen in many people’s workout and exercise routines on a daily basis. There are many benefits of sit-ups such as being beneficial for working out the core muscles and improving your abdominal strength. However, many people do sit-ups incorrectly, which can cause many injuries and strain your neck.

When doing sit-ups in your workouts, I offer many tips to keep in mind so you can avoid straining your neck and hurting yourself. Make sure you are going at a controlled pace because sit-ups are not easy to do correctly! I also offer a way to do a modified sit-up before doing the actual sit-up and four exercises that will help you perform a sit-up.

TODAY SHOW: Buti yoga – I tried this combination of yoga, belly dancing and HIIT

Traditional yoga is supposed to be relaxing and calming, but buti yoga is so different! Buti yoga is a combination of traditional yoga and a high-intensity cardio workout that includes tribal dancing. Buti yoga is effective in helping tone muscles, burn lots of calories, and help work muscles that we often do not work out in traditional workouts! 

I offer more information about what the buti yoga workout entails, including the classes I tried. I also offer more about what I enjoyed about buti yoga and what I did not like so much. Buti yoga was overall very exciting because I got to try things I have never done before and I would totally recommend it to those who are looking for a new high-intensity workout!
