Yoga is supposed to be a method of relieving your back pain, but if done improperly it can contribute to it.
As someone who used to suffer from lower back pain, I always knew that there had to be a way to modify yoga in order to receive better results. Even when I used to practice yoga I was left with lower back pain that was difficult to ignore. After receiving my certification to become a yoga instructor, I researched small modifications that I could do to alleviate my pain during yoga. With these five small tweaks I was able to walk out of yoga class with less lower back pain than ever before!
