How To Step Up Your Walk (As Seen On CNN) 

While gyms remained closed due to the Coronavirus, one of the simplest (and most effective!) ways to exercise will be to go on a walk. You’ll soak in some much needed Vitamin D while also getting some fresh air after being stuck at home.

While other forms of exercise may be first associated with working out, walking will remain a top pick by health and fitness experts such as myself. This in part is to to the fact that they can be done virtually anywhere as well as the fact that walks can be done for free! You don’t need any gym equipment or even require any special attire even though tennis shoes are highly recommended. 

Many women are unaware of just how beneficial walks can be when it comes to a form of exercise. If you’re shooting for a target of getting 150 minutes of moderate exercise, this comes down to walking 22 minutes a day. There are many ways you can even take your walk to the next level by adding variations into it. Some of my favorite variations are walking intervals, engaging the core, as well as lower-body strength training! I shared some of my favorite ways to step up your walk with CNN.
