Let’s face it… tech neck is real. Looking down at your phone or laptop while remotely working due to the Coronavirus may seem like it isn’t doing you any harm, but it may be causing you tension in your upper back, shoulders, and neck. Relieving this tension can prevent pain in the future while also feeling great!
Using your headboard for stretching may seem a little out there, but I always recommend my private weight loss clients start their day by stretching in bed. Doing stretches in bed not only feels cozy and amazing, but can also motivate you to be healthier that day! If you don’t want to do these stretches in bed you can always do them against a wall.
One reason I highly recommend doing neck stretches is to help your muscles feel what proper posture is like. This muscle memory makes you a little more aware of your posture throughout the day and can even motivate you to have better posture overall!
