Overcoming Health Perfectionism During The Holidays (As Seen On FOX 32 Chicago)

If you’re like my private weight loss clients, you’re a perfectionist. Unfortunately when it comes to the holiday season, you may be holding yourself back mentally and physically if this is the case. 

Holding yourself to unrealistic expectations can be hard on you, especially during a season that is so busy! Between the holiday parties and craziness of the season, staying perfectly on track with your fitness goals can be quite difficult. It’s also important to make sure you’re working in rest days to your workout regimen. These rest days are a fantastic way give your body a chance to rejuvenate. 

If you’re taking a rest day, Arnicare Gel and Arnicare Roll-on Gel are great ways to relieve muscle pain, stiffness, and  swelling from injuries as well as the discoloration from bruising. This gel is awesome because it doesn’t leave a stick residue and absorbs into the skin quickly. One of the best parts about these products is that are are plant-based, meaning they are healthy for your body. These products can be found at Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens, and Whole Foods, as well as natural product stores and online retailers.

Another perfectionist mindset that can be damaging to those who are trying to stay healthy during the holiday season is that you can’t indulge in sweets. This is far from the case! Products like BARE fruit chips are fantastic ways to make sure you’re satisfying your sweet tooth while staying on track.
