But before that, Steph, you’ve actually got a new women’s health & fitness TV show coming out?

Now you say the mindset is key to sticking to any workout plan. What do you mean by that?

Feeling good about yourself isn’t just about health and fitness, it is about loving your body and knowing that you deserve to feel good about yourself. Steph’s 30 Day Workbook helps women to improve their self-image and self-confidence with daily activities and exercises. A social media detox is another way to rid yourself of negative thoughts and to combat comparing yourself to others. Positive affirmations in the morning and confidence-boosting exercises help to increase your self-worth.

OK, so what is this workout?

All workouts need 3 things: Cardio, Core, and Strength. Keep that in mind at home or integrate these moves into your gym workouts.

Amped up version of a squat. Spread your feet wider than your hips, and point your towards outward. Squat down, but make sure your back is straight, your abs are pulled in, and your pelvis is slightly tilted. Press up through your heels and squeeze your glutes on the way up. This exercise will work your butt, hamstrings, and inner thighs.

Next, a basic bicep curl with a twist is shown! With your feet as wide as your hips, tuck your abs in, and curl your biceps up, using 3-5 pound dumbbells. Make sure your elbows are in tight next to your waist during this! Then, extend your arms out to the side to finish off the move. More exercises like these are in the Signature Slimdown Workout DVD.
