With so many amazing benefits, it’s important to make sure that you don’t overlook the back! I always love doing back exercises because you can do them from anywhere – even your couch. Weight Loss Workouts for Women: Back Exercises with Cable Machines

Chicago’s weight loss coach and health & fitness expert for women, Stephanie Mansour, shows Fox 32 Chicago’s Jenny Milkowski some great exercises for a toned back. 

I’m with Jenny Milkowski today sharing one of my weight loss workouts for women. We’re doing back exercises with cable machines.

Many of us neglect working out and training our backs when we are trying to lose weight. It is important to exercise every part of your body so you can be strong and toned all over.

As a reminder, it’s important to choose an appropriate weight for you to work with–a weight that is not too light for you or too heavy. You do not want to be overdoing your strength training by using an excessively heavy weight where you will get exhausted after a few lifts with them.

The same goes for having weights that are too light for you. You will want to challenge yourself, so you can gradually and safely build muscle on your body.

I gradually add more weights to Jenny’s cable machine at the end, so she can be challenged.
