– Set your goals as “mini” goals. With so much change going on in the world, aim low so that you
can feel accomplished.
– Then, CELEBRATE your mini goals! Research shows that when you feel good about
accomplishing small things, that’ll motivate you to keep going.

– It is NOT business as usual this summer. With fear and instability around us, we need to find
things to be grateful for.
– Get excited when you make a healthy choice, and then move on!

– Gratitude journal at night; daily meditation; listen to inspirational podcasts in the background

Easy Ways To Improve Your Balance (As Seen In Natural Awakenings)

The great thing is that there are simple exercises that can not only improve balance but also reduce the risk of severe injury. One of the easiest ways I’ve helped my private weight loss clients to prevent serious injuries and improve their balance is to take a walk after dinner. Plus, some fresh air is always great for the body. 

Another way to help improve your balance is to have a steady diet of foods that are rich in Vitamins D and B12. These vitamins can help improve coordination and motor function.

The Best BBQ & Cookout Health Hacks (As Seen On ABC 7 Chicago)

The Fourth of July is a time of celebration. It’s also typically seen as the kickoff date for summer parties like BBQs and cookouts. 

 These summer celebrations are typically filled with plenty of food and drinks! Just because you’re with your friends and family (or however you’re celebrating social distancing style) doesn’t mean you have to abandon your health and wellness journey.

Some of the easiest BBQ and cookout tricks my private weight loss clients have used to stay healthy while enjoying social gatherings are to incorporate exercises into the event. These can be great ways to have some friendly competition between friends and family!

If you’re an athlete, you understand how essential cardio workouts are for your health and wellness – especially if you have plans to resume your sport after quarantine is over. Cardio workouts are also extremely important if you are exercising to lose weight, while also being great for your heart. One of the best benefits of cardio workouts are the fact that they help to produce more energy! 

As a private weight loss coach, I create customized workout plans for my clients. Weight Loss Workouts for Women: Stair Workout

Chicago fitness coach Stephanie Mansour teams up with Fox Chicago’s Jenny Milkowski demonstrate one of her weight loss workouts for women–a stair workout.

For this stair workout, you can go into a stairwell or go to stairs outside.

You can always workout somewhere else besides the gym. These exercises are meant to really keep your heart pumping, and are excellent for loosing weight and fat.

Remember to be safe while trying these weight loss workouts for women on a stairwell. As Jenny says, “don’t cause a traffic jam on them while working your booty!”

You will definitely feel you had a great and productive workout session after you complete these stair exercises.

We’ll show you how to get in a cardio workout on the stairs. We’ll also be showing you how to use the stairs for strength training exercises for your legs and strength training exercises for your butt.
