Leg Workouts for Toned and Defined Legs (As Seen in Successible Life)

Achieving toned and defined legs is one of the most desirable things at the moment. Many of my private weight loss clients have approached me and asked about the most effective leg workouts that can quickly help them get toned legs in the least amount of time.

Achieving toned legs is always desirable. In the summer having toned legs can help you look fantastic in your swimsuit, but in the winter having toned legs can help you look fantastic in heels for your holiday office party! It’s important to note that doing leg exercises alone isn’t enough to complete an entire workout. I strongly recommend adding in cardio to help round out your workout.

How To Add A Pilates Ring To Your Exercises (As Seen in the Chicago Sun Times)

A pilates ring is a fantastic piece of equipment to use in your workout – especially when you want to take your workout to the next level.

It may seem like a generic pilates ring wouldn’t have too much impact on a workout, but this isn’t the case. If you add a pilates ring to your workout, you’re actually going to intensifying your workout. These tools are fantastic to help you isolate different muscles, as well as helping you maintain proper form. Maintaining proper form during workouts is essential because it helps to prevent future pain, especially in workouts as intensive as pilates.

Signs to Take A Rest Day (As Seen In NBC News Better)

If you’re like many of my private weight loss clients, you’re very goal oriented and have a Type A personality. You typically set a goal then don’t stop pushing until it’s achieved. In most areas in life, this is a fantastic trait. When it comes to working out, however, this isn’t always the case.

When you push yourself in a workout, it’s normal to experience some discomfort. It’s not normal to experience sharp shooting pains during a workout. Even if working out is a priority for you, it’s important to remember that your body also needs rest. The objective when you work out is to have a healthier body and mind, which can’t happen if you’re over pushing yourself. Kickboxing Moves for Weight Loss (As Seen in The Chicago Sun Times)

One of my favorite ways to help a private weight loss client get passionate about fitness is to help them find an exercise that is fun. The goal is to have so much fun that you don’t even realize you’re exercising.

I always recommend that they try kickboxing. Kickboxing is a fantastic full body workout. You engage your whole body while you’re kickboxing, which helps to give you a well rounded workout. Even if you aren’t near an area that offers kickboxing, you can always incorporate the moves from the sport into your everyday workout. These moves are fun to do and can help you get in shape. If you spend any amount of time on social media platforms, chances are you’ve seen how popular fitness challenges are. The question is – do they really work?

These challenges can range from anything to help you tone your legs or even round out your backside. There is a fitness challenge for anything you would want to improve on your body! The Best Ways To Make Your Morning Healthier (As seen on the today show)

If you’re like many of my private weight loss clients, mornings are a hectic time. Whether you’re trying to get your kids to school on time or make an 8 am meeting, it’s safe to say mornings are a difficult time for everyone to add a little health and wellness to.

Even though mornings can make you feel like you’re rushing through everything, there are little ways you can incorporate a healthy lifestyle. One of my favorite ways that I’ve shared with my private weight loss clients is to stretch and mediate before you get out of bed. Taking the time to help your muscles wake up and think intentionally can help you set the path for the entire day ahead of you! Beat the Heat During Outdoor Workouts (As seen in NBC News Better)

Exercising outdoors is a fantastic way to keep a workout interesting, but the heat can be a deterrent.

Summer may be almost over, but the heat seems like it’s here to stay. Working out in the heat can be hard on your body, so it’s important to make sure you’re taking all the precautions you can to stay cool. One of the best ways to be able to exercise outdoors but beat the heat is to adjust the times that you’re outdoors. The hottest point of the day is around 3 pm, so you certainly don’t want to be doing a workout outside then. Instead, try working out in the morning or even once the sun starts to set.

Inner Thigh Workout with Pilates Ring (As Seen in the Chicago Sun Times)

Some of my favorite workouts to share with my private weight loss clients are the ones that they can do from home. Not everyone has the time to spend an hour at the gym everyday, and that’s okay. 

Pilates workouts are some of the most popular workouts at the moment. If you have a Pilates ring, you can actually do your own Pilates workout from your living room! These rings are relatively inexpensive and can help you do entire core workouts from the privacy of your own home. These rings can help you to work a variety of areas on your body, depending on the placement. This is especially true for your inner thighs.

The Best Resistance Band Workout on the Go (As seen in the Chicago sun times)

Adding a resistance band to your workout can have amazing benefits for your body. It’s perfect to pack in a suitcase and take with you on the go! 

 

I recommend using resistance bands for many of my private weight loss clients because of how easy they are to use! Unlike most workout equipment, these bands are fool proof. No matter how you use it you’ll be adding some form of extra resistance to a muscle in your body! I also recommend them because of how easy it is to shove them in a suitcase, carry on, or even purse when you’re on the go. Besides being portable, a resistance band is awesome because you can incorporate them into most exercises easily. One of my favorite ways to use them is to do exercises with them while I’m watching tv at night to burn a few extra calories before bed!
