Full Body Workout with a Resistance Band (As seen in NBC News Better)

A resistance band isn’t just for physical therapy anymore – it’s the compact tool even beginners can use to amp up their workouts.

Resistance bands are one of the best equipment investments you can make for your workouts. A resistance band is based around adding more of a resistance to your muscles to a particular area where the band is placed, meaning you are forced to work your muscles harder. One reason I consistently recommend resistance bands to my private weight loss clients is because of how compact and travel friendly they are! They are easily folded into a purse, suitcase, or even pocket if you’re on the go. Good form is key in any fitness routine, but burpees especially. Watch the video to get great tips and techniques for taking your burpee game to the next level. (Pay close attention to the high five portion as that is probably the most complicated maneuver to nail!) ;-P
