Easy Ways To Improve Your Balance (As Seen In Natural Awakenings)

The great thing is that there are simple exercises that can not only improve balance but also reduce the risk of severe injury. One of the easiest ways I’ve helped my private weight loss clients to prevent serious injuries and improve their balance is to take a walk after dinner. Plus, some fresh air is always great for the body. 

Another way to help improve your balance is to have a steady diet of foods that are rich in Vitamins D and B12. These vitamins can help improve coordination and motor function.

The Best BBQ & Cookout Health Hacks (As Seen On ABC 7 Chicago)

The Fourth of July is a time of celebration. It’s also typically seen as the kickoff date for summer parties like BBQs and cookouts. 

 These summer celebrations are typically filled with plenty of food and drinks! Just because you’re with your friends and family (or however you’re celebrating social distancing style) doesn’t mean you have to abandon your health and wellness journey.

Some of the easiest BBQ and cookout tricks my private weight loss clients have used to stay healthy while enjoying social gatherings are to incorporate exercises into the event. These can be great ways to have some friendly competition between friends and family!

One thing I tell my private weight loss clients is to sit down and make a reasonable and realistic plan. I have them grab a notebook or notepad and physically write this plan out. I also advise them to set goals that are attainable and to take it easy on themselves. Getting back to their pre-pandemic fitness level may take a little bit of work and won’t be able to be done overnight. Once you get back into a routine, you will become more comfortable with yourself as you settle into a routine. It’s also important to remember to celebrate the goals you achieve along the way!

Working from home may leave you waking up feeling drained and overwhelmed. I always tell my private weight loss clients to remember to practice self-care alongside taking care of their physical bodies. Many women forget that this is important too! 

One great way to do this is to develop daily routines to help keep your brain active and your body feeling refreshed. Practicing yoga can help you learn breathing techniques that will help you remain calm in uncertain times as well as helping you stay focused. This is a fantastic way to stay energized about exercise as well as excelling when it comes to your job.

A fun way to make sure you stick with your healthy lifestyle is to have family members join you! This simple trick can help you meet your fitness goals and stay accountable for your workouts. 10 Minute Leg and Balance Workout (As Seen On IGTV)

Bubbles and Biceps started as Fizz and Motivation, which was a way for me to help reach women and show them that mental health isn’t optional. I started this series on Instagram live and have added four episodes to it! 

The first episode was about improving your mood and motivation. I shared my favorite tips and tricks to help lift your spirits during the quarantine. 

The second episode was about reaching your fitness goals during a time of not being able to go to the gym. Changing your mindset changes the way you work out while at home. 

The third episode was my personal favorite because my sister, Jennifer, joined me. She joined me to share how she managed to lose eight pounds in four weeks while social distancing and working out at home! 

The fourth episode was also about motivating yourself to work out during quarantine. One of the biggest things I realized was that working out during quarantine made it me less likely to workout! Once I cut out ordering takeout, I was so much more motivated to make the most of my time in quarantine.
