The Best Resistance Band Workout on the Go (As seen in the Chicago sun times)

Adding a resistance band to your workout can have amazing benefits for your body. It’s perfect to pack in a suitcase and take with you on the go! 

 

I recommend using resistance bands for many of my private weight loss clients because of how easy they are to use! Unlike most workout equipment, these bands are fool proof. No matter how you use it you’ll be adding some form of extra resistance to a muscle in your body! I also recommend them because of how easy it is to shove them in a suitcase, carry on, or even purse when you’re on the go. Besides being portable, a resistance band is awesome because you can incorporate them into most exercises easily. One of my favorite ways to use them is to do exercises with them while I’m watching tv at night to burn a few extra calories before bed!

The Best Exercises to Give Give You an Energy Boost (As seen in NBC News better)

Do you find yourself reaching for an afternoon pick-me-up that leaves you crashing later? Try these workout moves that can wake you up without the caffeine! 

Coffee or soda might be a quick way to wake yourself up at your desk, but it may leave you suffering from the consequences later. When you sit at your desk for a long period of time without moving it tricks your body into thinking that you’re ready to go to sleep, meaning the drowsiness is going to set in. Next time this happens to you, try doing stretches that are designed to wake up your body! This method of waking up your body is natural and won’t leave you crashing later.

The Best Way to Get Rid of Cellulite (As seen on HLN)

Toning the back of the legs is one of the best ways to decrease the appearance of cellulite! 

One of the things I hear many of my private weight loss clients talk about wanting change on their body is cellulite. When a client mentions that they dislike this about their body, I always share with them that getting rid of cellulite isn’t the best solution to their problem, the solution is learning how to enhance their body naturally. It’s very difficult to completely get rid of cellulite, but toning the back of your legs and lower body can make it so that it’s much less noticeable! Whether they’re getting ready for a beach vacation, an elegant dinner, or even just to feel better about themselves it’s important that they understand this is a process that takes time. Workouts for Your Morning Commute (As seen in the Chicago sun times)

Riding the bus or train to work can feel like a waste of time, but you can make the best of your time by squeezing in a workout! 

We’ve all been there… Riding the train to work and wondering when you’ll be able to get off and get something productive done. That’s why I came up with a few quick workouts that can help you to use your time wisely and squeeze in a workout. These exercises aren’t crazy (I promise!) and won’t seem like you’re doing anything too out of the ordinary. My favorite part about these exercises is that they can be used in a variety of ways! While you’re reading a book, watching tv, or even at your desk at work while you’re finalizing a report.

August is one of the most hectic times of the year. You’re working to get your family back into a routine which can lead to even more stress being placed on yourself. Even when your to-do list is piling up, it’s important to take a few minutes for yourself and unwind. Yoga is a perfect way to decrease your stress levels as well as squeeze in a little exercise. Yoga is also a perfect option for anyone on the go because all you need to be successful is a mat. (A bath towel will even do in a pinch!) Best Lunges for Summer Weight Loss (As seen on HLN)

Slimming down for Summer doesn’t have to take hours a day – you can take 5 minutes of your day to go outside and do lunges! 

Lunges are a common exercise because of how easily they can fit into anyones schedule. They require little space, little equipment, and even little time! A win all around. While stepping outside to do lunges in the fresh may be ideal, if this doesn’t fit into your schedule you can even do these from a hotel room. I always recommend my private weight loss clients take five minutes a day to get their bodies moving doing exercises like lunges and take that time for themselves. Best Ways to Relieve Pain of Plantar Fasciitis (As seen in NBC News better)

Plantar Fasciitis is one of the most common issues that people have with their feet. Over two million people are diagnosed with this condition every year! 

If you’ve ever experienced the pain of Plantar Fasciitis, you understand the shooting pain it can leave you with. There is no one cause for this condition, it can be worsened by a number of reasons such as weight gain, repetitive motions, and wearing shoes that aren’t the best for your feet. But Plantar Fasciitis doesn’t have to be caused by any factor, it can even occur naturally as your muscles tend to tighten over time. The best way to relieve the pain from Plantar Fasciitis is to stretch. Stretching can help to loosen the tendons in your feet, making the pain more bearable.
