The Coronavirus, or COVID-19, is forcing more and more women to take to their laptops and work from the comfort of their home. While working remotely may not seem like a big change, this change may lead to a drastic change in your posture.
While working from your couch or bed you may be extremely comfy, it may lead to adverse impacts on your posture. Most office chairs are designed to help improve your posture with features encouraging you to sit up straight and keep your feet flat on the floor. Your bed or couch, on the other hand, may not.
How you’re sitting when you’re working on a laptop may not seem like it would be a big deal, but it can really take a toll on your posture. While laying down while working may seem fun and exciting at first since you can’t do it at a traditional office, you’ll start to quickly notice neck and back pain. I shared an article with The Daily Mail about improving your posture while working remotely. For the full article, click here.
