Going to a ski resort for a vacation with your family and loved ones can be a fun vacation, but it’s important to prepare your body for the use of muscles you don’t use as often. Skiing without preparing your body can leave you waddling around the next day with sore glutes and thighs and can put a damper on your ski resort vacation. Skiing and snowboarding use muscles that are similar to the ones you use while cycling and swimming. When preparing for a ski trip you want to do exercises that focus on stamina, balance, and posture.
