10 Minute Leg and Balance Workout (As Seen On IGTV) 

Improving the strength of your lower body is one of the best things you can do for yourself while you’re social distancing. When you work to strengthen your lower body strength, you’re improving your posture! 

 

I highly recommend my private weight loss clients to do leg and balance workouts because it can help improve their quality of life. When you have better posture, you are causing less tension in the body and may even feel yourself doing day to day actives much more quickly.

Bubbles and Biceps started as Fizz and Motivation, which was a way for me to help reach women and show them that mental health isn’t optional. I started this series on Instagram live and have added four episodes to it! 

The first episode was about improving your mood and motivation. I shared my favorite tips and tricks to help lift your spirits during the quarantine. 

The second episode was about reaching your fitness goals during a time of not being able to go to the gym. Changing your mindset changes the way you work out while at home. 

The third episode was my personal favorite because my sister, Jennifer, joined me. She joined me to share how she managed to lose eight pounds in four weeks while social distancing and working out at home! 

The fourth episode was also about motivating yourself to work out during quarantine. One of the biggest things I realized was that working out during quarantine made it me less likely to workout! Once I cut out ordering takeout, I was so much more motivated to make the most of my time in quarantine.

If you’re an athlete, you understand how essential cardio workouts are for your health and wellness – especially if you have plans to resume your sport after quarantine is over. Cardio workouts are also extremely important if you are exercising to lose weight, while also being great for your heart. One of the best benefits of cardio workouts are the fact that they help to produce more energy!

When you decide to work towards a smaller waist you should keep in mind that it will take effort. While exercise can help you lose weight overall, you have to also have a healthy diet in order to get a smaller waist. While fad diets may help you lose a few pounds quickly, these aren’t sustainable. A healthy diet should consist of protein, fruits, and vegetables and is a diet you can maintain over a long period of time.

Changing your mindset is one the the best ways to get back into shape. Once you change how you think about health and wellness, your habits will follow. When I begin working with my private weight loss clients I always tell them to change their mindset and their bodies will follow! 

Another one of my favorite ways to motivate clients to getting back into shape is to help them identify their motivations. Once we figure out what is driving them and why they want to get in shape, it changes the way they feel about exercise. Finding your motivation will help you stop thinking of getting in shape as something you’re expected to do but rather something you want to do!

Many of my private weight loss clients have told me that one of the goals they have set for themselves is to have strong and defined legs. They’re always very shocked when I tell them that this is a very achievable goal and they can get visibly more defined legs in a relatively short amount of time. Being a health and fitness coach I specialize in helping women achieve the goals they set for themselves with effective exercise plans I’ve designed for them.

First and foremost, it’s essential that women realize that many of the bodies they are idolizing in the media are unnatural. The bodies of celebrities may not naturally be in an hourglass figure, instead they may be created by plastic surgeons or even intensive image editing. Placing unrealistic expectations for yourself when it comes to your figure isn’t healthy for you, so it’s important to make sure you’re working towards attainable goals!

The Importance Of Packing Your Gym Bag During Quarantine (As Seen In Succesible Life) 

Even though gyms aren’t open, I’m strongly encouraging my private weight loss clients to still pack their gym bags! When you pack your gym bag, you’re forming habits. It also helps your mind to compartmentalize what you’re doing. Even if you’re working out in your living room, having the gym bag with your items in it is a great way to prepare yourself for when life returns to normal.

As a health and wellness coach, I’m always asked what exactly goes inside of my gym bag. While it may not be as interesting as everyone thinks it may be, my gym bag does have a list of core essentials I can’t leave home without! These are my tried and true items that have helped me to get out of a pinch in various situations. 

One of the items I love to pack in my gym bag are healthy snacks! Having snacks on hand is the perfect way to make sure you don’t snack on things you may find lying around the office or your home that may put you off track of your fitness journey.
