As a certified Pilates instructor as well as someone who has suffered from back pain myself, I highly recommend using Pilates focused moves to help workout your abdomen. Another benefit of toning your mid-section is that it helps you to strengthen your core. While having a strong core may not seem like a necessity, the core helps you to perform essential day-to-day tasks with ease. I always recommend that my private weight loss clients do exercises to tone their abdomen to increase their mobility and core strength – the tight and toned mid-section is a bonus!
