Given the emphasis of the hourglass figure in modern times, many women are left searching for ways to achieve a smaller waist. One thing I always stress to my private weight loss clients is that a wanting a smaller waist shouldn’t just be for superficial reasons – it should be for health reasons.
When you decide to work towards a smaller waist you should keep in mind that it will take effort. While exercise can help you lose weight overall, you have to also have a healthy diet in order to get a smaller waist. While fad diets may help you lose a few pounds quickly, these aren’t sustainable. A healthy diet should consist of protein, fruits, and vegetables and is a diet you can maintain over a long period of time.
