With everyone’s normal being completely turned upside down, many women find themselves lacking motivation and positivity. Whether anxiety or stress is at the root of your worries, it’s important to dedicate time to yourself to find the positives in life.
While there is no real recipe or definitive way to stay positive, shifting your mindset can have many benefits for your health. One of the ways I’ve been encouraging my private weight loss clients to stay positive and motivated in regards to their fitness is to incorporate little things to improve their wellness into their day. If you’ve already done your 5-minute workout, you’re less likely to eat junk food and counteract what you did in your workout. You’re also more likely to do another 5-minute workout before you go to bed!
Another important mindset I’ve shared with my clients is that even one 5-minute workout is 500% more of a workout than sitting on the couch. It’s important to be kind to yourself! Social distancing and working remotely due to COVID-19 is uncharted territory, being kind to yourself is essential.
