TODAY SHOW: How to take full advantage of yoga physically & mentally

You may think of yoga as purely a physical activity, but there are important features involved that can be beneficial to your mental health. If you want to take full advantage of yoga, it’s important to consider all the health benefits it offers. 

And while you may fear the difficult poses or sweaty environment, yoga actually offers a ton more than most people originally think. After attending yoga classes throughout my life and reading Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, I discovered the eight limbs of yoga and have been able to incorporate them into my life. 

Lucky for you, these limbs can be easily integrated into your everyday life as well with a little bit of conscious effort. Each limb revolves around a concept that helps either your physical or mental health, such as integrity or self-acceptance or steadiness. When combined, these features can help you take full advantage of yoga while adding positive value to your everyday life.
