Pushups are one of the most basic exercises that everyone has attempted to do at least once in their life. Whether the word pushup takes you back to middle school gym class or a bootcamp you’ve done, this simple exercise can have great impacts for your body.
Aside from being an exercise that doesn’t require gym equipment, pushups are very good for your body. This simple exercise can help to improve your posture, strengthen your core, as well as even promote bone health! With such amazing benefits for the body, there’s no question as to why you should do pushups – but there may be a question as to how many you should do. When raised with this question I always tell my private weight loss clients to start with 10 pushups. From there you can adjust your number for your body!
